Threshold-Framed™ Coaching

Clarity, performance, and identity through transition

You’re not here because something is “wrong.” You’re here because what once worked no longer does—and your internal compass feels unclear even when outward success persists.

You may be an anomaly, misfit, maverick, entrepreneur, high-performing professional, or leader at a crossroads. You push limits, get things done, and carry responsibility others can’t see. And yet, beneath the success, there’s internal dissonance: pressure, uneven focus, self-doubt, or a sense that your internal life no longer matches your external performance.

This is what a threshold moment feels like—when the old strategies stop producing clarity and a new way forward is not yet visible.

Now imagine a shift.

Imagine showing up in your work, relationships, and mission with clarity, steady focus, and deep trust in your instinctive knowing.

Imagine having the tools to access your emotional wisdom, shift your focus on demand, connect with your deepest self, cultivate awareness rather than reaction, and lead with grounded presence—even in chaos.

Imagine turning your intensity into precision and your past into fuel. Thresholds have the potential to help us organize yourself toward what’s next.

This is where I come in.

“Clarity doesn’t live in the past—it’s built in the present, in real time. As you build awareness, the path ahead comes into focus.”  ~Doc Diego

I’m Doc Diego—a clinical psychologist and human performance and connection coach with two decades of experience helping elite performers, leaders, creatives, and neurodivergent professionals navigate moments where the old way no longer fits. I have gone to the depths of suffering in recovery and human performance, helping others to not just survive uncertainty but learn to thrive in it. You don’t have to go it alone.

My work emerged from years of clinical and applied research integrating neuroscience with lived experience and real-world immersion—through consulting, training, and collaboration at the University of South Florida, consulting and training at Mayo Clinic, and working with Special Operations Forces (SOF).  Environments where clarity is operationally necessary.

I’ve worked with elite warfighters, entrepreneurs, and professionals at the edge of transition—not to “fix performance,” but to reorient the self-system where performance and identity intersect.

This work isn’t about motivation.

It’s about clarifying your unique story, recalibrating your nervous system and neurological organization. In other words, what’s real in your body and mind, removing what’s in the way, and helping you lead from your center—not your stress. —so you lead from your center, not from your survival responses.

Let’s make clarity your strategy.

Imagine harnessing your unique wiring—your intuition, your fire, your difference—and turning it into your edge.

Whether you’re navigating:

  • Absence of a sense of internal success despite outward success
  • Burnout masked as ambition
  • A career or identity transition
  • Major relational, project or career setbacks
  • Ongoing struggles with connection
  • A hard time accepting feedback or praise
  • Emotional patterns you can’t “think” your way out of
  • Fear of being found out due to the amount of work that goes into your success
  • Or simply craving a new level of performance with presence

You are in a threshold space—a moment where clarity, not effort, is the pathway forward.

How We Work Together

Coaching with me is a hands on, results-driven process grounded in psychological and neurological insight, strategic emotional clarity, and nervous system intelligence.

Through neurologically based strategies and deep human conversations, we will work to:

  • Map and unravel internal patterns that no longer serve
  • Cultivate emotional and nervous system readiness as inputs for clarity
  • Create narrative coherence across roles and life domains
  • Use setbacks as organizing events instead of confusion
  • Build the capacity to act with grounded authority rather than reactive urgency

Your ability is not the problem.

What needs to shift is how your system organizes itself across roles, transitions, and pressures.

Your ability isn’t the problem.
What needs to shift is how your system organizes itself across roles, transitions, and pressures.

You already know how to perform.

Now it’s time to lead yourself and others with depth, coherence, and internal alignment.

Let’s make clarity your strategy.
