Purpose of This Page

This Disclosures & Terms of Use page is intended to clearly describe the nature, scope, and limitations of the information, services, and offerings presented on this website. It exists to support transparency, ethical practice, and informed decision-making.

By accessing or using this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the disclosures and terms outlined below.

Educational & Informational Use

All content on this website—including written material, videos, audio, graphics, frameworks, and conceptual models—is provided for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice and should not be relied upon as such.

Engagement with this content is not a substitute for professional care, diagnosis, or treatment provided by a licensed healthcare or mental health professional.

No Therapeutic Relationship via Website

Accessing, reading, or interacting with this website—including submitting contact forms, downloading materials, registering for events, or scheduling consultations—does not create a therapist–client or healthcare provider–patient relationship.

A therapeutic relationship is established only through all of the following:

  • Completion of a formal intake process
  • Review and signing of informed consent documentation
  • Execution of a written service agreement
  • Compliance with applicable state and federal laws governing psychological services

Therapy Services

Psychotherapy services, when offered, are provided solely within the context of a formal therapeutic relationship and in accordance with professional ethical standards and applicable licensing regulations.

Therapy services are provided by a licensed psychologist in the State of Florida and are offered only to individuals who are physically located in Florida at the time services are rendered, unless otherwise permitted by applicable law. Telehealth services are subject to state licensure requirements and regulatory limitations.

A therapeutic relationship exists only after completion of intake, informed consent, and a written service agreement.

Coaching, Consulting, Retreats, and Educational Programs

Coaching services, consulting, retreats, workshops, speaking engagements, and other educational or experiential offerings provided through this website are non-clinical in nature. They do not constitute psychotherapy, mental health treatment, or healthcare services and are not a substitute for clinical care.

Participation in these offerings does not create a therapist–client relationship. Individuals are responsible for their own physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing and are encouraged to seek appropriate professional support when needed.

Thresholds™ Framework

Thresholds™ and Threshold-Framed™ are proprietary conceptual frameworks developed by Dr. Diego F. Hernandez to support clarity, identity integration, and meaning-making during periods of transition.

These frameworks are educational and developmental in nature and are not diagnostic systems, clinical protocols, or prescriptive treatment models. Clinical application occurs only when explicitly delivered within a formal therapeutic relationship by a licensed professional.

Unauthorized reproduction, representation, or use of the Thresholds™ framework is prohibited.

Psychedelic-Related Clarification

This practice does not provide, facilitate, prescribe, administer, or supervise the use of psychedelic or controlled substances. No illegal substances are used as part of any services offered through this website.

When referenced, psychedelic-related material is presented solely for educational, harm-reduction, preparation, or integration purposes, and only where legally permissible. Such discussion does not constitute endorsement, encouragement, or recommendation of illegal substance use.

Emotional and Experiential Risk

Personal development, reflection, and experiential learning may involve emotional discomfort, insight, or temporary distress. Individual responses vary, and outcomes are not guaranteed.

By engaging in non-therapy offerings, you acknowledge personal responsibility for your participation and wellbeing.

Emergency and Crisis Disclaimer

This website is not intended for use in emergency or crisis situations.

If you are experiencing severe psychological distress, thoughts of self-harm or harm to others, or require immediate assistance, contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis support provider immediately.
